I just dropped my parents off at the airport for their cruise! Get this...my mom WON a free cruise from Provocraft...if you don't know what I'm talking about then let me clear it up! Provocraft is the maker of The Cricut, Yudu, MyStory, and lots of other crafty gadgets!!! So she bought a cartridge from Michael's and when she opened it...IT HAD A GOLDEN TICKET IN IT!!! So lucky...

So today marks FREEBIE FRIDAY for my blog! Im here to give you something you are never gonna forget...(thats what ...!!!)

So the other day my sister and I were talking...dreaming...ya know just doing what we do best and DeAndra said..."We should have a group blog...ya know with our friends...and we could all post about different things! It would be SO COOL!" and I was like OK!!!

iheart-it Tuesdays!

So the past week was ABSOLUTLY beautiful...weather wise! We went out with only light jackets on and it felt almost like SPRING...super awesome. But today is a T-TOTALLY different experience...it's SnOwInG like crazy!!! Whoa!

My friends and I are workin up a little project that I can't really talk about yet...but I'm SUPER excited about it! Im sure A LOT of my day will be spent geeking it up like a fox ;O)

So it's Tuesday and time to tell you the things I'm *hearting* right now!!! Ready? Here it comes... (that's what she...I've got to stop with that!)

I've ALWAYS loved Dave...in a way thats just...well...if you are a Dave fan you know what I mean! My husband bought me the new Dave Matthews Band cd for Christmas. He let me open it early so we could listen to it for our long trek to Eastern Ky for Christmas Eve festivities...when THIS song played...I cried (in a good happy...OMG that touched my SOUL kind of cry! You know when your eyes just start watering...that kind of thing!) It's THE perfect song for RIGHT were we are as a family...



I would say Dave has played a HUGE role in my life...

As a dreamy teenager I sang along to Satalite, Crash, and all the earlier DMB songs and daydreamed about meeting the love of my life!

When I met that guy...I would say this CD was basically the soundtrack of our romance! I bought that guy and I tickets to see DMB at Riverbend for our 1 year anniversary of dating (it was SO awesome) And when I walked down the aisle to marry that man...my cousin played "Crash" on his guitar. It was beautiful...

I *heart* DMB SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much...and I soooooo badly want to see them again this summer at Hullabaloo in Louisville...it's on my 25 before 26 list!

Inspire Me Mondays!

3 things that are inspiring me this week!!!

My sweet little 1 year old! We just started taking him to Gymboree Play & Learn classes and he is having SO much fun! Its so insiprational to watch him learn new things...helps remind me to look at the world through a child's eyes! I *heart* him!

My sister asked for a pair for Christmas...and as I was buying them for her I tried on a pair...and fell in LOVE! Super comfy and awesome cause! One for One!

My friend Sarabeth! She is such an inspiration! This brave and talented woman, wife, and mother of 3 is in the process of opening the *COOLEST* little yarn shop EVER right here in Winchester, Ky! We met by chance after my sister ran into her at the Daniel Boone Pioneer Festival last fall here in Winchester. My sister *hearted* her on etsy.com and was thrilled to meet her in person! This chic dyes, spins, and knits! And now she is spreading the love by offering knitting classes at her store! I just finished up knitting 101 and made a rockin pair of fingerless gloves! Come see her on Feb. 4th for Wine About Winter in downtown Winchester!!! Cool preview to the shop and spinning demonstrations will be going on!!! YAY!

lazy Sundays...

are so nice! Especially since it's *my* one day a week I get to sleep in, thanks to the hubby! I stayed in bed until *gasp* 10:30!!! So nice and lovely and everything wonderful! It's raining...like a lot and so we've just stayed in all day playing and having family time! I love it!

Rain can be a little bit of a Debbie Downer and it doesn make you wanna stay in...but stayin in isn't so bad...when you have a little cuddle monster to play with and a husband who always wants to have tickle wars!

So as Little Bear plays on tv and the beat of the washing machine hums I'll share with you some of my FAV etsy.com finds for the day!

25 before 26!

As you can probably see (thanks to my cool widget over ---->) I am attending Style School with Elsie and LA!!! It was one of my awesome Christmas presents from my parents this year!!! So cool!

Something Elsie does every year is makes a list of things she wants to do before her next b-day! Cool right! So I've been wanting to do one for a while now...and well this morning...I did it!!!

Here is my list!!!

Since I scanned that in...can't really read it too well...so I'll share some of my favs!!!

#1. Ride Rollercoasters!!! Haven't done this in a few years!

#10 Volunteer

#11 Learn to knit!!! (workin on that one right now thanks to Sarabee)

#21 Dave Concert (oh I HOPE HOPE HOPE this one happens)

So anyway...I think the first step to reaching goals is KNOWING what they are!!! Hopefully this list will help me reach those goals...

Girl time!

The snow is truly starting to get me down...Im just kinda OVER it! Really! haha...yeah its beautiful BUT kinda makes me feel a little trapped here at home. So after 2 days of basically not leaving the house I was THRILLED (in my singing voice) to GET OUT!!!














Yesterday was my first class in Knitting 101 with Sarabeth at Sarabee's Little Yarn Shop! (A soon to be crafting hot spot in our little downtown!) Oh its gonna be so awesome!!! We got a little sneak peek yesterday and it is BEAUTIFUL!

So for about 2 hours I got to have some serious girl time and learn the knit! Great combo! We laughed, joked, goofed around and learned an awesome skill that will stay with us forever!

I love being around other women and moms...its strange how the idea of good company changes over the years. But I do believe this is the best group I want to be involved with...woman and moms! What a powerful group of people...capable of SO much!

Its SOOOOOO important to be supportive and loving to our friends...because you know, we need it. You know that it feels so good to have someone say "Awesome Job" or "You rock!" or just "Hey girl have you lost weight!" haha ! So lets do that more...A LOT more!

Be supportive to someone you love...don't be afraid to tell them how awesome they are...I promise it wont take away from how awesome you are too! PROMISE!

Power to the MAMAS!!! There really is no stopping us!!!
